The faculty at Namaste Montessori School are education professionals with degrees in education, Montessori administration, Montessori teacher certification and/or vast experience with childcare. Lead guides in each classroom are certified Montessori guides with diplomas from Association Montessori International (AMI), the American Montessori Society (AMS), or the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS). Within their first year with the school, assistant guides take the CGMS assistant’s education program. And all professionals in the classroom meet or exceed the rigorous requirements for teaching professionals in New York State, including background checks and continuing education. We strive for authentic Montessori practice, working to serve each child with loving care and attention.
